This was taken on the last night of my Washington and Oregon trip. My friend and photo mentor David Thompson and I set out to photograph the flowers at Mount Rainier, but made a bee line to the coast to Bandon Beach, Oregon along the way home. I captured a subdued sunset with the waves rolling in along the shoreline, which made a nice leading line to the wizards hat rock formation.
